The death of a pet

A rabbit.

I lost my pet today morning, and I couldn’t live through the day. I know many people go through this heart-breaking incident. We look back at what we might have done wrong and try blaming someone else too.

I had 2 pet rabbits which were purchased on the 28’th of December in the year 2020, named Percy and Annabeth (I’m a huge Percy Jackson fan) and it had only been 10 days since Percy died.

At fist I blamed myself and tried to figure out the reason it possibly could have died. Then I blamed my friend for letting go of the rabbit 3 times when it wriggled. After that I thought it could have been the shopkeeper’s fault for giving me an old rabbit.

The reason you are here is either because you have a pet or lost a pet recently. I am not here to tell you that I’m sorry that your pet died you might have heard that comment a million times. But I’m here to say you are not the first one to feel this, neither are you the last.

We all wanted the best for our pet and have probably daydreamed about getting a pet and have spent a long time to show your parents you are a responsible kid.

I hope you feel better soon and get over the death of your pet. You will meet your pet again, in your dreams. Your pet could probably be relaxing in Elysium now or in the fields of asphodel waiting for you to come and visit.

Did you go through these feelings? Was there anything I didn’t add? Let me know in the comments section or send it to me at abbigailkingsleigh@gmail.com and for more blogs from me visit abbigailkingsleigh.medium.com .
